On April 6, at the Department of Information Science and Software Engineering students and schoolchildren presented the results of their research works in an interactive mode in the Zoom program within the subsection “Modern Programming Technologies” of the section “Information Technologies in Digital Society” of the final scientific student conference according to the results of 2021. 
 




In their works, the speakers considered both theoretical and practical aspects of using modern programming technologies: when analyzing the importance of artificial intelligence in shaping the modern world, when developing chatbots of a social network to support the educational process and an information Telegram bot, when developing web applications, including the information system of the department, when developing a training program with game elements and a simulator for assembling a video card, as well as for implementing an automatic control system in a computer game.

According to the results of the subsection work, the prizes were distributed as follows:
1.    Among the students:
The 1st place was taken by Andronov Artur and Kuznetsov Ivan (IV course, bachelor’s degree program, specialization “Development of software and information systems”) with the topic of the report “Development of the information system of the department” (the scientific supervisors are Tyagulskaya Lyudmila, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Science and Software Engineering, Glazov Anatoly, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Information Science and Software Engineering).

The 2nd place was taken by Romanyuk Andrey (IV course, bachelor’s degree program, specialization “Development of software and information systems”) with the topic of the report “Implementation of an automatic control system in a computer game” (the scientific supervisors are Tyagulskaya Lyudmila, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Science and Software Engineering, Glazov Anatoly, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Information Science and Software Engineering).

The 3rd place was taken by Vertos Anton and Larchenko Maxim (II course, bachelor’s degree program, specialization “Development of software and information systems”) with the topic of the report “Development of a simulator for assembling a video card” (the scientific supervisors are Stashkova Olga and Glazov Anatoly, Senior Lecturers of the Department of Information Science and Software Engineering).

2. Among the pupils:
The 1st place was taken by Timush Eduard (the 8th grade, MEE PE “Center for Children’s and Youth Creativity”) with the topic of the report “Development of an information Telegram bot” (the supervisor is Nagaevskaya Natalia, teacher of additional education).
The 2nd place was taken by Grinchenko Evgeny (the 10th grade, MEE PE “Center for Children’s and Youth Creativity”) with the topic of the report “Artificial intelligence − an assistant or a threat” (the supervisor is Tyagulskaya Lyudmila, teacher of additional education).
