PASSPORT OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM 09.03.03 APPLIED INFORMATION SCIENCE 


Training Program: 09.03.03 Applied Information Science (Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation No. 207 dated 12.03.2015).
Specialization: Applied Information Science in Economics
Level of higher education: bachelor’s degree.
Graduate Qualification: Academic Bachelor.
Mode of study: internal study mode.
Normative term of study: 4 years.
The field of professional activities of graduates of bachelor’s degree programs with the qualification “Bachelor of Applied Information Science” includes:
–  system analysis of the applied area, formalization of the solution of applied problems and processes of information systems;
–  development of projects for automation and informatization of applied processes and the creation of information systems in applied areas;
–  performance of work on the creation, modification, implementation and maintenance of information systems and management of these works.
The objects of professional activities of graduates of bachelor’s degree programs with the qualification “Bachelor of Applied Information Science” are:
–  applied and information processes;
–   information Technology;
–   information Systems.
The types of professional activities for which graduates of bachelor’s degree programs with the qualification “Bachelor of Applied Information Science” are preparing for:
•    project design;
•    production and technological;
•    organizational and managerial;
•    analytical;
•    research.

Project activities:
– conducting a survey of the application area in accordance with the specialization: collecting detailed information to formalize the requirements of the customer’s users, interviewing key employees of the customer;
–  formation of requirements for informatization and automation of applied processes, formalization of the subject area of the project;
–  modeling of applied and information processes, description of the implementation of information support for applied tasks;
–  preparation of a feasibility study for project design solutions and technical specifications for the development of an information system.
–  information systems design in accordance with the specifics of the specialization by types of support (software, information, organizational, technical, etc.);
–  application programming, creation of an information system prototype. documentation of information system projects at the stages of the life cycle, the use of functional and technological standards;
Production and technological activities:
–  carrying out work on the installation of information systems software and downloading databases;
–  information systems parameters tuning and tuning results testing;
–  maintenance of technical documentation;
–  testing of information systems components according to specified scenarios;
–  participation in expert testing of information systems at the stage of trial operation;
–  initial training and consulting of users on the operation of information systems;
–  implementation of technical support of information systems during its operation; information support of applied processes;
Organizational and managerial activities:
–  participation in negotiations with the customer and presentation of projects;
–  coordination of work on the creation, adaptation and maintenance of the information system;
–  participation in the organization of work on the management of the information systems project;
–  interaction with the customer in the process of project implementation;
–  participation in the management of the technical support of the information system during its operation;
–  participation in the organization of IT infrastructure and information security management of information systems;
–  participation in the organization and management of information resources and services;
Analytical activities:
–  analysis and selection of project design solutions for the creation and modification of information systems;
–  analysis and selection of software and technological platforms and services of the information system;
–  analysis of information system testing results;
–  assessment of costs and risks of project design decisions, effectiveness of the information system;
Research activities:
–  application of a systematic approach to informatization and automation of solving applied problems, to the construction of information systems based on modern information and communication technologies and mathematical methods;
–  preparation of reviews, abstracts, library-research papers, scientific reports, publications, and bibliography on research work in the field of applied informatics.

A graduate of the bachelor’s degree program must have the following general cultural competencies:
–  an ability to use the foundations of philosophical knowledge to form a worldview position (general cultural competence 1);
–  an ability to analyze the main stages and patterns of the historical development of society in order to form a civic position (general cultural competence 2);
–  an ability to use the basics of economic knowledge in various fields of activity (general cultural competence 3);
–  an ability to use the basics of legal knowledge in various fields of activity (general cultural competence 4);
–  an ability to communicate in oral and written forms in Russian and foreign languages to solve problems of interpersonal and intercultural interaction (general cultural competence 5);
–  an ability to work in a team, tolerantly perceiving social, ethnic, confessional and cultural differences (general cultural competence 6);
– an ability to self-organization and self-education (general cultural competence 7);
–  an ability to use the methods and means of physical culture to ensure full-fledged social and professional activities (general cultural competence ;
–  an ability to use the first aid techniques, methods of protection in emergency situations (general cultural competence – 9).
A graduate of the bachelor’s degree program must have the following general professional competencies:
–  an ability to use legal documents, international and domestic standards in the field of information systems and technologies (general professional competence 1);
–  an ability to analyze socio-economic tasks and processes using the methods of system analysis and mathematical modeling (general professional competence 2);
–  an ability to use the basic laws of natural sciences and modern information and communication technologies in professional activities (general professional competence 3);
–  an ability to solve standard tasks of professional activity on the basis of information and bibliographic culture using information and communication technologies and taking into account the basic requirements of information security (general professional competence 4).

Specialization: Information technologies in modeling and organization of business processes.
Level of higher education: master’s degree program.
Graduate Qualification: Master.

Mode of study: internal, external study mode.

Normative period of study: internal study mode– 2 years, external study mode – 2.6 years.

–  study of patterns of formation and development of the information society, properties of information and features of information processes;
–  research and development of effective methods for implementing information processes and building information systems in applied areas based on the use of modern ICT;
–  organizing and conducting a system analysis and reengineering of applied and information processes, setting and solving applied problems;
–  modeling of applied and information processes, development of requirements for the creation and development of information systems and its components;
–  organization and performance of work according to the feasibility study of project design solutions, the development of projects for automation and informatization of applied processes and the creation of information systems in applied areas;
